I attended the Australian Indigenous Doctors' Association (AIDA) annual flagship conference as an Aboriginal medical student. It brought together medical professionals, graduates, and individuals interested in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health from across Australia. The 3 day event offered a great opportunity to network with peers and share experiences while providing a culturally safe environment to learn, develop, and share individual stories. The conference was a great platform to discuss important issues related to Indigenous health and medicine in Australia.
